"You have heard...But I tell you..."

This is my time in the Occupied West Bank this summer. It's my medium of processing and recording what I am witnessing and observing. I am realizing that there is a lot that I have heard and been taught which does not line up with the reality I am experiencing. Please note the lights atop the wall in the middle of the photo. When the family of the home they are facing refused to move out, the IDF placed those lights there. Every day at 8:00PM they turn them on so the rooms are flooded with light. The family can no longer use the rooms for sleeping.
